Jaedin is looking for a special family who will love him forever! He enjoys playing with blocks, toys that make noise, stuffed animals, and enjoys tossing a ball. Jaedin also likes listening to sing-along songs, and although he cannot sing, he often smiles when he hears the tunes. Drinking juice, watching cartoons and viewing Disney movies make him happy. Jaedin is keen on other children and dogs. He plays in an adaptive baseball league in the summer; although he cannot hit the ball or run, he is wheeled around the bases and cherishes spending time on the baseball field. Jaedin has significant medical and dietary needs, but that doesn't stop him from sharing his love and pleasant smile with the world. This young fellow is in seventh grade and delights in going to school. He is making good progress and continues to improve in many areas. A wheelchair and a special sitting chair assist with mobility, and he can walk up to 20 steps with leg braces but needs to have a caregiver next to him. His caseworker prefers a two-parent family; however, all family types will be considered. An involved, supportive and attentive family who loves him for who he is would provide the best home for Jaedin. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services. For Colorado children, both homestudied and non-homestudied Colorado families are encouraged to inquire; only homestudied families from other states should do so.
